The money side of contract flying, handled from the ramp

You already do the hard part. n1099 takes the trip you just flew and turns it into an invoice the owner approves from their phone, then tracks what is owed so you do not have to.

Free for pilots. No card, no directory, no cut of your money.

Who this is for

  • Full-time contract PIC or SIC

Citation, Challenger, Gulfstream, Falcon. Four to six owners and management companies a year.

  • Airline pilot flying contract on days off

One or two owners, a few invoices a month, done from the hotel before the commute home.

  • Turboprop and piston freelancer

PC-12, TBM, King Air, mentor and ferry work. Payers are individuals who want a real invoice.

Rate cards: your deal with each owner, written down once

Contract rates are negotiated per owner and often per airplane. n1099 keeps a rate card for each, and picks the right one when you log a trip.

  • Per client, per aircraft, per role

A PIC card for the Challenger and an SIC card for the same owner’s King Air can coexist. Most specific wins.

  • Every line you actually bill

Day rate, half day, travel day, standby, training, hourly, per diem, overnight allowance, minimum days, terms.

  • Suggested, never forced

Trip lines are drafted from the card. You still tick, edit or remove each one before anything is sent.

Receivables you can read at a glance

One screen: what is outstanding, what is overdue, and which owner is slow this quarter. Then reminders, so the follow-up is a schedule, not a text from you.

  • Reminder schedules per client

For example: 3 days before due, on the due date, 7 and 21 days after. Calm wording you can edit. Every send is logged.

  • They stop when the money lands

Record a payment, partial or full, and the schedule for that invoice ends. Reminders stop the moment a payment is recorded.

  • Payment status that says what it is

Self-reported, owner-confirmed. Never a guess dressed up as a fact.
